Klasien van de Zandschulp is an interactive artist & designer. After working over 10 years as an interaction and UX designer at design agencies, technology labs and startups, she founded an independent studio in interactive art and design, based in Amsterdam.
Klasien van de Zandschulp designs story-based and participatory experiences, blending digital/physical and online/offline interactions. Her work involves mobile and augmented reality experiences as well as interactive installations and explores embodiment, sensory design, rituals, human interaction and radical thoughts around our daily technology practices. She is also active as a curator and initiator of interactive events, labs and exhibitions.
Klasien often teaches as guest lecturer at design and art academies and universities in the Netherlands, Belgium and Italy.
She was jury member of the IDFA Doclab Immersive Non-Fiction award 2017, the Netherlands Film festival Golden Calf Interactive award in 2018, the SpinAwards AR/VR in 2019 and is coach member at VAF Interactive (Flemish Audiovisual Fund).
